5 to 6 months...

Dear Harper,
My goodness time is just flying by - so fast that I had to combine two posts into one!!
I can't believe it's your 1/2 birthday already!!

So many things are changing with you -

You have the most hilarious personality and you are turning into such a little feisty chick - I have no idea where you get that from. ;)

You get really frustrated when you can't put our fingers, the remote or my phone in your mouth - it will never happen baby...too many germs.

We thought you were starting to teeth because you had a really bad week last month - and maybe you are teething but no little tooth yet!

We recently started to let you "cry.it.out". Oh how this hurts my heart.
But, as the days go by you are crying less - so it's working! And....you have been sleeping through the night!! Yay!!

You always are so smiley!

Especially when you are in your "jenny"!! Jump jump jump!!!! You even jump when we are holding you now. :)

You are getting better at eating your solids - but you don't love your highchair. You really like bananas.

We started MOPS together last month and it was been a really fun break for mommy...you are doing a good job in the nursery too.

You laugh all the time.

You're getting more hair...and you are still wearing your bows! YAY!!

You also got sick for the very first time. worst.night.ever. :( I had no idea a baby could be that sick.

Halloween came and went and you were a cute little "buggy" during the day and at night you wore your elephant costume!! We had so much fun dressing you up!

Favorite thing for sure these last couple months has been when you blow kisses...not with your hand. But, just when you look at us and make the cutest kissing noise. :)

I love you Harps and I'm so thankful that I get to be home with you every day. You are such a blessing to mommy and daddy.

3 years ago today.....october 10th. 2009. happiest day of my life. i married this guy. my love. my best friend. my everything.
thank you God for bringing him into my life!!

exciting news....

i just found out that this little lady is moving BACK home....it's been 11 years too long gyrlie! I can't wait for gyrl nights with wine and mommy breaks and play dates and weekend fun, i could go on and on. oh how I have missed my friend. looking forward to sharing all the little things with you.

four months

Dear Harper,

So you're 4 months old....

4.months.old

I just can't believe how fast you are growing.

You change every.single.day.....and every single day I love you more.

This month has been the best to date.

You have the most beautiful smile and it just melts my heart.

You have started to giggle and oh, that is the sweetest sound.

You like your bumbo. sometimes.

You are trying to sit up from lying down. You arch your back, and it makes you so mad when it doesn't work in your favor.

You are our little drool bug! Teething, I'm not sure - but, you want to put EVERYTHING in your mouth...even your toes.

You love to make silly noises and I know you can understand when I speak in your language right back to you.

Harper Mae... you are our little love and we thank God for you every day.

Here's to 4 months....to celebrate how about you sleep through the night for mommy and daddy?
